I have used Avocado PA services for over five years and have always found the service provided to be first class. As Chief Executive of one of the largest medico-legal companies inthe UK, it is essential that our work, which consists of detailed medico-legal reports are typed to the highest standards and returned to us quickly in order to comply with Court timetables. I have found that Avocado PA has always delivered in terms of accuracy, speed, efficiency and service. We're a small editorial consultancy often asked by our clients (PR and medical communication companies) to undertake transcription projects for them - everything from a single speaker/single presentation, to a 3-day multi-speaker roundtable meeting/conference. Joking aside, there are so many advantages for a small business not having to manage in-house support staff, not having to contribute to NIC, pensions, worry about personnel issues, and so on. Whether you are an SME, or a huge corporation the staffing choices are usually limited to either temporary or permanent staff. Prior to joining Avocado PA, Maureen worked as my PA for over 10 years and when she left I had reservations about using a "remote service". However, the advances in technology have allowed us to continue working together as if she was sat in my office, but at much less cost! Dictation is emailed electronically and comes back just as quickly and as accurately as it always did. Our telephone system can also be answered remotely when we are all out of the office, which as surveyors often happens. The voice at the end of the telephone line is friendly, welcoming and known by our longstanding clients. Even when on site, letters, faxes and emails can be dictated over the telephone to Maureen and sent instantly on our behalf because she has remote access to our Outlook mailboxes. To summarise, little has changed since Maureen has left us, but our staff overheads have reduced significantly. The quality of the service we receive, however, remains first class.
I thought that I would get away with a little bit of help managing the e-commerce side of the website, updating, maintenance etc. Unfortunately, I found that having a virtual assistant is addictive. They can do everything. Kelly has enhanced my business ten-fold in a matter of weeks. I cannot thank her enough and I'm not sure how I actually managed before she came on board. She has revolutionised my administrative systems, created new ways of working that have astounded me in how simple and cost effective they are. I have been meaning to write to you for some time but have now become very busy thanks in a large part to your excellent service. Work has started to roll in and I am sure one of the major factors is the fact that your beautifully typed reports are ready the morning after the evening Marion e-mails my digital dictation. We are therefore beating the competition in supplying our reports at great speed. I have been really encouraged starting this medical reporting practice (about which I had major doubts) by the fact that I have engaged such a helpful and efficient assistant in the Antipodes at such a competitive price! I hesitate to reccomend you too highly in case you become so busy you are unable to continue to supply this superb service to my fledgling practice.
